SLEEP DEPRIVED? RUSHED? OVER CAFFEINATED?
COME AS YOU ARE – EVERYBODY IS WELCOME.
A social destination for NEW parents and seasoned parents alike. Our J Baby programming focuses on nurturing relationships, creating friendships, strengthening the bond between parent and baby, and fosters NEW parents’ growth, knowledge, and wellness. Get comfy, socialize, and learn with us!
J Baby was created to serve as a positive space for parents to have #realparenting moments. Through our programming we hope to help new parents connect and build a broader social support network. We know that building connections to the outside world is so important for new parents who can easily be overwhelmed balancing work, parenting, and mountains of laundry. Creating a safe community that embraces parents as they are is incredibly important to us. The sleep deprived, cranky, and fussy are always welcome (babies too)!

Studies show that infants as young as a couple of months old are fascinated by surprises and have a natural curiosity to figure out what causes unexpected reactions. This class is designed to encourage you and your child to explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) materials and concepts together and use surprising provocations as a springboard to investigation. From block play, to rolling and ramps, to exploring colors and shapes, this class will engage you and your baby in the early stages of experimentation.
Members: $90
Non-members: $115

“I just wanted to tell you all how much I appreciate J Baby (and all of the wonderful programs at the J!). You all are amazing for coordinating such high-quality and important programs like the car seat safety event today. I have spent hours researching the best seats and watched a million install videos, and our seat was still installed incorrectly. I learned so much today. Thank you also for being so generous with your time and energy, and watching our little ones while we checked our seats. My son, Sam, had so much fun and I was so happy when he didn’t cry when I walked away! I can’t wait for him to start at the GECC in August.”
