All dance classes at the J are highly interactive and gently structured so children truly enjoy their experience of Dance! Dance at the J offers year-long classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, Creative Movement, and Tumbling. During preschool dance classes, boys and girls begin learning the basics skills of hip-hop, tap, ballet, and tumbling. The class will end with a relaxed dance recital right here at the J in Zale auditorium and during your child’s class time on the last day of class in May, Recital and costume Fees included with price.

Creative Movement

This class concentrates on coordination, balance, rhythm, strength, and agility. It is a fun and energized introduction to dance and movement. Every class will practice basic locomotor skills and will stimulate imagination and promote creativity.  Children will also learn basic skills in Tap, Ballet and Tumbling. Classes ending in May will include a fun and relaxed dance performance that the whole family will enjoy. Recital and Costume Fees included with price. These classes are for our children enrolled in the Goldberg Early Childhood Center.

Preschool Afternoon Dance Class

Boys and Girls dance classes at the J are highly interactive and gently structured to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.  Dance classes, for children ages 3 – 6, provide learning the basic skills in Creative Movement, Hip-hop, Tap, Ballet, and Tumbling.  Classes ending in May will include a fun and relaxed dance performance that the whole family will enjoy.  This class is for students that are members of the J and non-members.

Preschool Dance Classes

Dance Classes at the J offer boys & girls the basic skills of hip-hop, tap, ballet, and tumbling. Our classes focus on fun movement to many types of music, rhythm (Clap, stomp, twist, swing, and dancing to the beat), memorization (learning and recalling dance steps in order), group Interactions such as taking turns, and coordination. Our classes work on large gross motor skills such as hopping, skipping, galloping, and jumping. These classes are for our students enrolled in the Goldberg Early Childhood Center.
