Meet Our General Counselors

Cate Ginsberg just finished her first year of college at American University in DC studying musical theater. This will be her fourth year working at Camp StarQuest and she is so excited to be back! Camp StarQuest has been her happy place each summer. She always looks forward to it, and she can’t wait to share that same level of excitement with all the StarQuest campers. Her favorite part of camp is watching how quickly all of the campers grow, and she is thrilled to play a part in that again this summer!

Dalton Glenn is a rising Sophomore in the BFA Acting program at SMU and he’s very excited to be returning for his second year at Camp StarQuest! He has been working with the JCC and JPAS since the 2018 production of Fiddler on the Roof, Jr. and was an Assistant Stage Manager for Wizard of Oz, Young Performers’ Edition! He has been acting since he was seven years old and loves to see kids get so excited about the incredible world of theater and hopes to become an acting teacher so that he can pass on his knowledge and his love for theater.

Grace Nobles is a rising sophomore in the musical theatre program at Manhattan School of Music. She is also a proud graduate of Idyllwild Arts Academy’s musical theatre program, where she made her directorial debut with “Piggy and the Cocktail Dress” and played Bebe Benzenheimer  in “A Chorus Line”. Other favorite roles include Reno Sweeney in “Anything Goes” and Suzy Hendrix in “Wait Until Dark”. She loves tacos, running, and horseback riding. Even though she considers herself a New Yorker now, she’s thrilled to be back in her home state of Texas for an exciting summer with the JCC!

Rachel Smith is a soon-to-be junior in college, studying theatre and education. Recently she performed in The Addams Family and Footloose. Rachel also choreographed The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, and Once Upon A Mattress. She worked as dance captain for Fiddler on the Roof, Willy Wonka, Madagascar, and assistant-choreographed The Wizard of Oz. This is her third summer with Camp StarQuest and she is very excited to be back and can’t wait to have fun with her group (the best group at the JCC)!

After Battle of the Stars on the last day of camp we have our big song fest, where we’ll announce the winner and have an end-of-camp finale. That includes our final appreciate circle tradition which ends in hugs and often tears because we don’t want the summer to end.

Can’t wait to make memories that last a lifetime – see you on Tuesday, June 11!

Shine Bright,
