Meet Our General Counselors

Logan Beutel is a sophomore at Southern Methodist University majoring in Theatre and is double minoring in Musical Theatre and Health Management. He also works as a professional ballroom dancer and instructor. Logan is elated to be a part of this experience teaching young artists!

Grant is thrilled to be working with this incredible program this summer! Grant grew up spending his summers in similar camps and they truly are some of his best memories. He is a recent graduate of Parish Episcopal school where he was a frequent actor, designer, and director of many productions. He just completed staging his first two-act play entitled “Caged”. Grant has also been involved in local community theatre including East Dallas Arts, The Rotunda Theatre Series, and is a former employee of North Texas Performing Arts. Grant intends to pursue a theatre education in college.

Megan Muscato is a current student at SMU majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Acting and minors in musical theatre and education. Outside of school, she teaches partner and ballroom dance lessons at Lone Star Ballroom in McKinney. Performance Art has always been a huge part of her life so she is so grateful to Alise and the JCC for the opportunity to be a part of the StarQuest team!

  18. Battle of the Stars: Two action-packed days of complete and utter fun – July 1 & 2. Please do not miss these days either.  It is super fun and it’s important our campers have closure at the end of camp. On the last day of camp to conclude Battle of the Stars, we have our big song fest, the winner is announced, and have an end-of-camp finale that includes our final appreciation circle tradition.  This always ends in hugs and often tears because we don’t want the summer to end.

Can’t wait to make memories that last a lifetime – see you on Monday, June 7!

Shine Bright,
