That’s a Wrap!
What an amazing StarPower experience we had this summer! Our campers were amazing! Collectively, we set a creative vision, established goals, worked hard, and played even harder! We could not be any prouder of their accomplishments as writers, composers, team players, and performers of their own collaborative work of art!
One of the most touching things about this group were the bonds they formed and the ongoing support they had towards one another. The key to our success this summer was setting our intentions, infusing mindfulness, establishing meaningful connections, practicing kindness towards ourselves and others while tapping into our campers’ creativity and passion. Learning to collaborate is such an important skill. I am confident and proud that each of our campers walked away with a deeper understanding of how to share ideas and listen to others to create a collective vision.
Our Final Week Looked Like This!
During the last week at Camp StarPower, we spent the week doing all sorts of engaging activities such as daily dance, acting and voice classes, our writing labs, mindful moments, and theater and team building games. We also finished writing and composing our show, rehearsed, and completed a full day of filming using various locations around the J. So, without further ado, StarPower proudly presents our 2021 original film titled, “What’s New, In the News.”
Carnival Day
Carnival Day was a blast! On our last day of camp we had a painting, shaving cream, water balloon and a tie-dye party. We even spent time sliding down a huge inflatable water slide! The amount of fun was off the charts!

Not ready for all the fun to end? Register for one of our awesome Fall Classes. We have an array of offerings from a Broadway Revue, Performing in a Play, Making and Staring in A Group Music Video, On-Camera Acting, Costume Design Workshop and so much more! We also put on a large-scale musical production with auditions that begin in January! Keep an eye out for registration information on social media and via email. Space is limited for all of our programming. Once registration opens, I recommend you register early to guarantee your spot.
Closing Gratitude and Appreciation
Every Friday at StarPower, we hold an appreciation circle. This is a time for us to acknowledge others and share our thanks. I would like to take this moment to thank YOU. My staff and I appreciate you for offering us the opportunity to teach, lead and love your camper through the past two weeks. It has been an honor and we can’t wait to see them again next summer! Let the countdown begin!
