Avani’s training philosophy centers around making fitness accessible to all individuals, regardless of age, illness, or ability. She believes in the therapeutic effects of exercise, as her passion for leading others in fitness grew from assisting students with disabilities in adapted physical education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Health Education from the University of Texas at Austin, with specializations in Disabilities Studies and Strength & Conditioning Coaching. She is currently working to obtain a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. Her personal training experience consists of working with clients with many types of injuries, chronic illnesses, and disabilities. She also has 4 years of experience as a gymnastics coach for athletes with and without disabilities, leading them in sport-focused strength and conditioning. She combines her backgrounds in personal training, sports coaching, and occupational therapy to provide function-focused training for all.”
