That’s a Wrap!
What an amazing StarPower experience we had this summer! Our campers were fantastic! Collectively we set a creative vision, established goals, worked hard, and played even harder! We couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments as a writer, composer and a performer of their own collaborative work of art! One of the most touching things about this group was the bonds they made and the ongoing support they had towards one another. I believe setting our intentions, infusing mindfulness and making meaningful connections while tapping into our campers’ creativity and passion was key to our success.
Our final week at StarPower was spent doing all sorts of amazing fun awesomeness! We rehearsed and put the final touches on our performance.
Here is a link to the performance…
Our final carnival day at camp was a blast! We spent the morning in dance and acting class but that let our inner visual artist shine by participating in an amazing painting workshop. In the afternoon we had such a good time as we spent most of it have a good old water balloons and shaving cream “fight” and playing in the sprinklers, and even got to tie-dye our own mask! We then went inside and played some fun theater games which brought out each of our belly laughs and wrapped it up with our traditional closing and appreciation circle. An opportunity to put closure on our time together by expressing the impact the last two weeks have had on our hearts and so we could share our reflection of our experience and friendships made.
Thank you for the opportunity to lead your child through the past two weeks in this unprecedented. We did it! It was an honor and we can’t wait to see them again next summer!
In the meantime if you want to continue taking JPAS virtual or in person classes during the year, Fall registration will be officially online by the end of the week the latest. We have so many amazing opportunities! At JPAS this Fall we have something for everyone. Space in limited in all our programming so please don’t wait to register. See you soon!
