New MEMBERS

Getting started
After you purchased your membership, you will have a “blocked access and blocked registration” to get this resolved, you will need to come and, get your picture taken and show your ID to our welcome desk.
Member Portal
The primary account holder who has created the J account is the person who has access to the portal with the email address used. This access can be used to sign up for programs, request changes to your membership, and purchase guest passes. Only the primary account holder can access the portal. Please ask your family members not to create multiple accounts to register programs as they will be charged non-member fees if they don’t use your account.
Facility Access
You will need your barcode to scan at the welcome desk to access our facility. You can find your barcode in two places:
- My j App: On the main page of your My J App, you will see an icon that says “check-in” click on check in to get your barcode pop-up (please see below for instructions to get the my j app)
- On your member portal: Once you are on your member portal, click on “My Profile” and then “Member Information” you will see the barcodes for all your family members. You can screenshot and share their respective barcodes with their family members.
Easy Access to the campus
Parking stickers are available to members at the Welcome desk. This sticker will go above the registration on your car windshield. This allows the guard house easy visibility to give you access to the campus.
TollTags can be registered to our security system. Members can pick up a toll-tag form at the Welcome Desk and drop off the filled-out form there.
Facility Updates
When you sign up, if you have opted out on emails, you will not receive any updates on what is happening at the J. To be informed, subscribe to our newsletter to receive facility updates, membership information and program information from the J by clicking the link. Sign Up For Newsletter.
Reservations and facility usage
My J app is used to make reservations for group fitness classes, pool, tennis and basketball courts. It is also a great way to get notifications about closures, facility updates and important information. For each member a new account is created within 24 hours of the membership purchase. Please log in using the email you added to your account. If you cannot login within 48 hours of your membership application, please contact membership@jccdallas.org.
Group Fitness Classes
The classes in the group fitness schedule are included in your membership. You can access the up-to-date schedule on the My J App. The weekly schedule is published each season. Click here for the current schedule.
Free Fitness Orientation
Take advantage of the free fitness orientation we provide to our members. This could be a 15-30 min orientation where our Fitness Director or inhouse Personal Trainer walks you through the fitness center in detail or it could be a 30 min consultation where you talk about your personal goals, and they can share some tips with you. You can reach our fitness Director Adrian Maddox amaddox@jccdallas.org to schedule one.

Trainers are available to work with our members on the fitness center. Click here for more information on personal training.
