Try Your Hand At the Game of Love
Set in Damon Runyon's New York City, Guys and Dolls JR. follows gambler, Nathan Detroit, as he tries to find the cash to set up the biggest crap game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck. Meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for fourteen years without ever getting married. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown. Guys and Dolls JR. takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, but everyone eventually ends up right where they belong.

A message from our Directors
Dear JPAS Families,
As we begin another exciting production, I’m reminded of what makes JPAS truly special. While the lights, costumes, and professional-level training are incredible, our focus goes beyond the stage.
At JPAS, we strive to nurture not just talented performers but compassionate, confident individuals. Our mindful arts curriculum fosters life skills alongside artistic development, creating an environment where every child is seen, heard, and loved. Through storytelling, music, and movement, our young actors gain confidence, navigate challenges, and form meaningful connections. We believe in the power of the arts to help children thrive both on stage and in life.
Our dedicated staff of theater professionals is at the heart of this process, ensuring that each child receives exceptional training and the support they need to grow as both performers and people.
As we embark on Guys and Dolls JR, it’s the dedication, effort, and passion of our children, staff, and parents that truly shape this journey. Your support and commitment play a vital role in nurturing your child’s growth, and together we are making every step of this experience meaningful, fostering both their artistic skills and character.
Thank you for being part of the JPAS community. We can’t wait to share this journey with you and celebrate each young performer’s growth along the way.
With gratitude,
Director & Producer, JPAS and Specialty Programs
