Toddler Music Play is the perfect introduction to music for your young child! Music development begins at birth, if not before, when the brain and body begin to respond to sound. Music learning happens best when children experience movement through play, informally, and through positive exposures to movement. In each class you can expect a variety of games, songs, and activities based on music education pedagogies such as Orff, Kodaly, and Dalcroze. Teachers model music-making and movement, and children are encouraged to absorb, imitate, explore, and express their musical ideas. Caregivers will participate alongside their children, moving, singing, chanting and playing instruments together.
