Mondays, Sept. 9 – Nov. 4
(6 classes)

There are five key benefits to sensory play: it builds nerve connections, language development, cognitive growth, motor skills, and problem-solving skills. This class delivers unique, hands-on sensory experiences for children that are as entertaining as they’re messy! Get ready for slime, silly putty, and moon sand.

Mondays, Nov. 11 – Dec. 16
(6 classes)

This mini fizzy science class is full of “chemistry”! We will learn what happens when baking soda and vinegar mix together as we wake up dormant volcanoes, do some fizzy color mixing of our own, and we’ll be blasting off rockets and much more!

Tuesdays, Sept. 10 – Nov. 5
(5 classes)

There are six types of simple machines: inclined plane, wheel and axle, lever, pulley, wedge, and screw – and you can spot them in different parts of your daily life. What better way to learn how all these work together than building and exploring with them as we see how they move with our own eyes!

Member: $100
Non-member: $160

Tuesdays, Nov. 12 – Dec. 17
(6 classes)

Construction play builds hand-eye coordination and the child learns to place the block on top of a block to build a tower in such a way that does not topple over. It also teaches kids early math and engineering skills with a snap of a Lego. We’ll be building with all sorts of materials that stack and interlock!

Wednesdays, Sept. 11 – Dec. 18
(13 classes)

Young children love to learn a new language and it is easy and fun to learn! We’ll have fun learning Spanish together through singing and games – numbers, colors, and simple phrases are the ways we learn together! Each week new handouts will be sent home to continue the learning. You’ll be amazed as our vocabulary grows (but don’t book the trip to Mexico just yet!).

Member: $260
Non-member: $330

Thursdays, Sept. 12 – Oct. 17
(6 classes)

Join us each week as we learn about some of the greatest artists of all time such as Matisse, Warhol, Mondrian, Seurat, and Pollock! We’ll make our own inspired creations while using a variety tools and media of which the great artist used themselves – each activity will encourage growth, imagination, and self-expression!

Thursdays, Oct. 24 – Dec. 12
(7 classes)

We’ll be moving and grooving to freeze dance, Simon says, musical chairs, crossing mid-line activities, parachute play, and yoga stretches. The added benefit from movement and games greatly benefit mental, social, creative, language, hand-eye coordination, and gross motor skills too!

Fridays, Sept. 13 – Oct. 18
(6 classes)

Monotype means one-of-a-kind in this style of printmaking. Mono-printing can be a fun and playful open-ended medium; it’s used for making marks and layering colors. Benefits of printmaking encourages fine motor skills, neural development, and problem-solving abilities that instill creativity to think outside the box.

Fridays, Oct. 25 – Dec. 13
(7 classes)

This is a great class for strengthening the tiny muscles in our hands as we learn how to roll, coil, fold, pinch, and press to make pinch bowls and roses, mandalas balls, and color mixing. Be on the lookout for spectacular pieces, sculptures, and some incorporating loose parts.

Mix kids and art together and what do you get? A perfect combination of imagination and curiosity! Join us each week as we learn about the greatest painters of all times such as Picasso, Monet, and many more as we explore a variety of mixed media from clay to paints. Each activity will encourage growth, imagination, and self-expression. Children will be inspired to think outside the box as they develop skills in the use of color, form, design, and shape as they work in both two and three dimensions.
