Alise Robinson, MCT – Producer and JPAS Director
Alise Robinson has pioneered the performing arts program into one of Dallas’ top year-round educational and performance-based programs for children and teens. Alise Robinson brings over twenty years of experience working with youth in a variety of facets including producing children’s musical productions, coaching youth in personal development, mindfulness and empowerment, teaching preschool, creating awarding-winning toy lines and consumer goods, licensing children’s entertainment and, developing, managing, and branding children’s intellectual properties. Among her accomplishments, JPAS was selected as “best theater classes for aspiring actors” in Dallas Child Magazine, Alise was named one of License! Magazine’s “top 40 under 40” licensing executives, she authored the children’s book series “Space Craze” and has won over 45 prestigious national toy design and production awards. Alise has also appeared on national and international television as a spokesperson for a variety of brands including ELLE magazine. Alise is also a certified mindfulness teacher and trained to teach k-12 Mindfulness through Mindful Schools. The common thread throughout Alise’s career has been her dedication to make a positive impact on children’s lives. Her quest to combine her love of working with children together with her branding expertise, on-camera experience and passion for theatre has led Alise to spearhead the J Performing Arts Space and to pioneer Camp StarQuest and Camp StarPower, the JCC’s Musical Theatre and Performing Arts Camps.
Linda Leonard, Performance Director
Linda Leonard has been a professional actor, director, choreographer, teacher, coach, and mentor for over 40 years. She has lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Abroad, and Linda has made her home here in the Metroplex since 1993 after a 5-year Tour of CATS. She has directed and choreographed over 75 productions for the JCC, Adult and Youtheatre, and now for JPAS with our amazing Programs Director, Alise Robinson. During our Covid “New World” of innovative theatre, Linda recently finished directing a short film titled Hide Your Love Away (a story of Autism, Suicide and Hope) and a streamed version of Application Pending starring B.J. Cleveland for Uptown Players and our JPAS Fall play entitled Perceptions. She is thrilled to be directing both JPAS shows and working with so many talented cast and crew. Linda also does commercial, film, and theatre work as an actor and teaches in the KD Conservatory College program. Linda is dedicated to the process of creativity and the empowerment of young artists (and her husband, actor Bill Jenkins, and their fur children Mocha and Maui).
Elizabeth Loyle Carr, Assistant Director
Elizabeth Loyle Carr is excited to be working with these great young actors and actresses and thrilled to be working with Linda Leonard again. Elizabeth graduated from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with an MA in stage management. She has worked on productions in California, Wales, Scotland, and England before moving to Dallas four years ago.
Adam C Wright, Music Director
Adam C Wright has been music directing theatre in Dallas since 1997, including the US Premieres of Soho Cinders and Closer to Heaven. As a composer and orchestrator, current projects include Isabella’s Treasure and A Taste of Beauty. He has worked as Betty Buckley’s local accompanist and served as MD and copyist for Facing East at the Lyric Theater in London with Harriet Thorpe, Rebecca Lock, and Alasdair Harvey. Recent credits have been at Watertower Theatre, Dallas Children’s Theatre, Imprint Theatreworks, and Uptown Players.
Skylar Duvall, Choreographer
Skylar Duvall is a graduate of KD Conservatory with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. She is excited to return for her fifth spring production with JPAS! Even through the pandemic, the JPAS team has strived to bring art and a sense of community to the kids in this program. “I am so thankful to work with these amazing kids! My favorite part of this process is seeing them get off stage after the show with a glow of pride and joy in their eyes. With the knowledge that they are enough, and they are loved.” -Skylar
Osinachi Osuagwu, Stage Manager
Osinachi Osuagwu is a graduate student at UT Dallas, getting her M.A. in Literature while also working at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. She has acted in multiple stage productions at UT Dallas and has stage managed and assistant directed for Mesquite Community Theatre and Mountainview College and is a current Junior Players teaching artist. This will be her third year stage managing for JPAS. When she is not at school or at work, she likes to read, write, and cook. She is excited to come back as a stage manager for Jungle Book Kids and Into the Woods JR. and is grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great director, cast, and crew. She is looking forward to showing off everybody’s hard work.
Scott Guenther, Production Design
Scott Guenther is excited to be designing his first show for The J. His work has been seen with other local theatre companies like Lyric Stage, Uptown Players, Theatre Three, Stage West, Contemporary Theatre, Jubilee, GSM and WTT to name a few. Scott is the resident Lighting and Media Designer for The Turtle Creek Chorale. He started his career with The Dallas Opera and The Santa Fe Opera and soon moved on to design for dozens of Theatre, Dance, and Choral companies while managing the technical needs of the Addison Theatre Centre for over 22 years. Scott is a graduate of The University of Texas, Arlington.
Bruce Coleman, Costume Designer
Bruce Coleman has been working as a theatre professional in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for many years. Some of the theatre companies he has worked for are Theatre Three, Dallas Children’s Theatre, Kitchen Dog Theatre, Uptown Players, New Theatre Company, ICT MainStage, The Junior Players, Stage West, The Fire House, Garland Civic Theatre, and Shakespeare Dallas.

Reagan Wren, Assistant Stage Manager Intern
Reagan Wren is a student at KD Conservatory getting her Applied Associates Degree in Musical Theatre. Reagan has already had two years of training in Acting at Sam Houston State University and hopes to combine her training at KD to receive a BFA in Acting. After graduation she plans on auditioning to work on and off the Broadway stage as a performer. She has stage managed for Kidz Act Community Theatre in Lufkin Texas for three years with shows including James and the Giant Peach, Seussical JR., and The Little Mermaid JR. This will be her first year stage managing for JPAS. She is very excited to work on Jungle Book Kids and is thankful for the opportunity to work with an amazing cast and crew!
Carlie McGhee, Assistant Stage Manager Intern
Carlie McGhee is excited to be working with JCC for the first time! She is currently majoring in Musical Theatre at KD Conservatory, and she loved having the opportunity to share her passion!
Sinan Beskok, Assistant Stage Manager Intern
Sinan Beskok is ecstatic to be working with JPAS for the first time! Sinan is currently a Sophomore at Southern Methodist University double majoring in Theatre and Mechanical Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Data Science. Most recently, Sinan was an Assistant Stage Manager for Regina Taylor’s the black album. 2020. Sinan greatly appreciates the welcoming environment cultivated by the fellow staff members, and he thanks them for all their hard work and dedication. Above all else, Sinan is grateful for this wonderful experience with the kids- watching them grow as artists, leaders, and people!
Cheyenne Young, Assistant Stage Manager Intern
Cheyenne Young is currently a Senior at Southern Methodist University working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies with a specialization in Stage Management. She is so proud of the I Wish cast and looks forward to everyone seeing the amazing things they have accomplished these past couple months!
