Amy Poe is a current third-year Stage Design MFA graduate student at Southern Methodist University with concentrations in Scenic, Costume, and Lighting design. She is originally from the Washington D.C. area where she taught theater at McLean High School for 10 years and was the artistic director of Little Butterfly Theatre Company. Recent design credits include costumes for Madagascar Jr. (JCC), costumes for Blues in the Night (Jubilee), scenery and costumes for Detroit ’67 (Jubilee)scenery for The Secret Garden (Brick Road Theatre), lights for Julie Johnson Sings the Songs of Patsy Cline (Brick Road Theatre), costumes for Cabaret (Brick Road Theatre), scenery for The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (SMU), and scenery for In the Blood (SMU). She is currently working on Costume Designs for SMU’s production of Spring Awakening and Circle Theatre’s production of Stage Kiss. www.amypoe.com
